Craig Graff was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers In America in the fields of Accounting, Valuation, and Bankruptcy. This is in addition to years of value-added turnaround consulting while working with Silverman Consulting since 1996. Mr. Graff’s consulting engagements have generally centered on family owned businesses with some degree of financial underperformance. Possessing a broad based financial background, combined with pre-and-post Silverman Consulting corporate restructuring experience, including public-traded companies, has enabled him to quickly identify turnaround opportunities for new clients. Mr. Graff assists his clients return to profitability by developing and implementing high level corporate strategy, assessing customer and product profitability, forecasting short and long term cash flows, and implementing cost reductions among other initiatives.

He has also assisted clients in more complex matters such as bankruptcy and corporate divestitures. Mr. Graff’s engagements have included companies with annual revenues as small as $1 million and as large as $1.8 billion.

Prior to joining Silverman Consulting, Mr. Graff was a Chief Financial Officer in the Agribusiness sector, on top of corporate internal auditing and public accounting experience. He has consulted in the turnaround industry for a wide variety of construction, manufacturing, assembly, distribution and service companies and has acted in management for a wide range of positions including restructuring officer, CFO, CEO, and COO.

Mr. Graff, a CPA, received his public accounting experience at Checkers, Simon & Rosner, Chicago (now part of American Express). He received a Bachelor of Accountancy degree and a Masters in Business Administration from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.
