Steve Theobald has been with Silverman Consulting since 1999. He has extensive experience in the food processing, building products, manufacturing and service industries. His consulting engagements have focused on operational and financial restructuring, recapitalization and company sales. Mr. Theobald’s extensive operating background has been put to use in engagements requiring him to serve in the role of acting Chief Operating Officer as well as the role of Chief Restructuring Officer.

Prior to joining Silverman Consulting, Mr. Theobald served twelve years in various financial and operating positions at Stokely USA, a $280 million publicly held branded food products company. As President and Chief Executive Officer, he engineered and implemented a complete restructuring of the company, positioning it for sale to a strategic buyer. He also managed numerous Stokely acquisitions and divestitures as well as equity and debt financings.

Prior to joining Stokely, Mr. Theobald served in various debt and equity trading and sales positions with Morgan Stanley & Company and Harris Trust and Savings Bank. Before beginning his business career, he served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy with service in Vietnam.

Mr. Theobald received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.
