Cezary Turek | Partner

Cezary Turek joined Silverman Consulting in May of 2006. Since joining Silverman Consulting he has assisted clients with profit enhancement, improving and bridging liquidity, business plan development, financial modeling and budgeting, new financing, debt restructuring and vendor negotiations. Typically, he takes the lead financial role with his client's functioning as a VP of Finance, CFO, general manager on a consultancy basis or as a financial advisor.

Most recently he led the Turnaround at a 3rd party logistics company located in the West Chicago Suburbs by implementing cost reductions, labor efficiency metrics, customer price increase strategies and vendor negotiations. Prior to that he led a profit enhancement, restructuring and refinancing of a food co-packing company located in the west suburbs of Chicago. During this time he acted as the company's VP of Finance on a consultancy basis. He continues to advise the company today on operational and financial initiatives.

Prior to that he was the lead financial advisor to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting which funds over $500 million a year to all the PBS and NPR stations across the US. During this time he worked closely with CPB executives and over 20 stations, their board of directors and general managers across the US to improve financial performance and implement new operating models.

On all engagements, Mr. Turek works directly with management and company employees to identify and execute improvements in operations, financial performance, and liquidity. Mr. Turek has worked on clients ranging in size from $20 million to $500 million of annual revenue in industries such as manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, wholesale and retail distribution, broadcasting, trucking and business services.

Before joining Silverman Consulting, Mr. Turek gained experience in financial accounting, financial due diligence, financial modeling and business plan development. Most recently, he was a senior manager in the Transactional Support Services Group of RSM McGladrey, previously American Express Tax & Business Services. He co-started the department which focused on financial assessment of acquisition targets for private equity buyers such as WHI Capital, Waveland Investments LLC, KPS Special Situations Fund, Hunt Special Situations Fund and Monomoy Capital as well as corporate buyers. Prior to that, Mr. Turek was a manager in the Commercial Audit Group of Altschuler Melvoin and Glasser LLP.

Mr. Turek holds a CPA and received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University. He lives in Barrington Illinois and enjoys spending time with his wife Laurie and 2 daughters.
