Michael Compton joined Silverman Consulting in 1999 after twelve years experience in public accounting and financial management focusing on manufacturing and distribution segments.
Prior to joining Silverman Consulting, Mr. Compton was Vice President, CFO/COO and Board Member of a Chicago chemical manufacturing and distribution firm, where he led a successful turnaround. Mr. Compton received his public accounting experience at Arthur Anderson & Company, Chicago. There he served clients in the construction, automotive aftermarket and publishing industries.
Mr. Compton received his Bachelor or Science in Accounting from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He has also completed the Owner/Presidents Program at Harvard Business School and the Corporate Financial Strategy Program at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
