2026 - A Summer of Showing Up

We help businesses get back on track, and this summer, we're focusing our efforts on supporting our community.

Every day, Silverman steps in when things aren’t going well, like when a company is struggling, there’s a gap in leadership, or a turnaround is needed. Our job is to show up, roll up our sleeves, and leave things better than we found them. The ServeAthon is just us bringing that same spirit to our community.

For one summer, our team steps out of the boardroom and gets involved in beach cleanups, food bank shifts, shelter visits, and gardening. There are no slide decks or billable hours. Instead, Silverman people focus on hands-on work to make our neighborhoods better and have fun doing it. This shows who we really are when no one is watching.

Why We Do It

Our firm is built on a simple idea: the most important work happens during tough times. Whether we’re restructuring, stepping in as interim leaders, or helping a company grow amid chaos, clients choose us because we stick with it until things are truly resolved.

This isn’t just another service we offer; it’s part of who we are. The ServeAthon shows our steady, resourceful approach and our willingness to do the hard, behind-the-scenes work. We bring these qualities to organizations doing vital work in Chicago. Whether we’re packing meals, sorting donations, or mentoring a child figuring out their future, we’re not stepping away from our values. We’re living them.

There are racks of folded blankets and crafting supplies around the room, with a large window letting in natural light and a dark accent wall in the background.
