Shabir joined Silverman Consulting in 2026, bringing more than 25 years of experience in executive financial leadership, operational finance and investment banking. He works with business owners, management teams, private equity sponsors and lenders to improve business performance, navigate financial and operational challenges, strengthen liquidity, and improve profitability.

Drawing on his previous experience as a chief financial officer, Shabir brings a practical, hands-on approach to helping businesses through periods of change. He partners with leadership teams to understand what drives performance, establish clear priorities and translate those priorities into action. His work includes interim financial leadership, cash and working capital management, operational improvement, finance transformation, and acquisition evaluation and integration. He helps management teams strengthen financial visibility and reporting, giving owners, boards and lenders a clearer basis for decisions.

Prior to joining Silverman, Shabir served as Chief Financial Officer at Lief Labs and Saleae and provided interim finance leadership to True Classic. He also held finance leadership positions at Career Technologies, Mason Controls and AeroVironment. Earlier in his career, he worked in transaction advisory & investment banking at Duff & Phelps (now Kroll) and in engineering and finance at Boeing. His background spans private equity-backed, founder-led and public companies across manufacturing, consumer products, technology, and aerospace and defense.

Shabir holds an MBA and both master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California. Based in Los Angeles, he enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations, experimenting in the kitchen and bringing family and friends together over a good meal.
