ServeAthon 2025
Summer of Service
That’s a wrap! Our summer-long ServeAthon initiative may have come to an end, but that doesn’t mean our efforts to give back stop here. Throughout the season, our team poured time, energy, and heart into each volunteer event. Some required a little extra muscle, others a bit more creativity and care, but every experience was meaningful in its own way.
These moments gave us a chance to step outside the office, connect as a team, and make a positive impact in our community. We’re grateful for every opportunity we had and for all the memories we created along the way.
Take a look below for some highlights from our ServeAthon journey!
Community Goods
One Tail at a Time
We kicked things off with the Chicago Blackhawks at their Back to School event. Students from local school partners received backpacks full of school supplies, helping them start the year feeling confident, prepared, and supported.
Messy, hands-on work—but totally worth it! Our team painted fences and picnic benches, brightening up the center and creating a welcoming space for both animals and visitors.
Big Shoulders Fund
Lurie Children’s Hospital
Every student deserves a playground that’s safe and fun. We mulched an entire playground, helping transform it into a space where children can laugh, play, and feel at home at school.
At our Raise a Glass, Lend a Hand happy hour, we created friendship bracelets and cozy fleece blankets for patients and families. A small gesture can spark a big smile
Feed My Starving Children
PAWS
Our team crushed it! In just a short time, we packed 5,400 meals—enough to feed 14 children every day for a full year. It was an incredible team effort with a lasting impact.
The furry friends at PAWS deserve a safe and clean home. We pitched in by cleaning and sanitizing food bowls, toys, and other supplies—helping make life a little brighter for the animals in their care. We were able to meet two friends, Drake and Sochi, at the end of our visit.
Alliance for the Great Lakes
Between Friends
Our team spent the day cleaning up the shoreline, removing litter and debris to help keep our lakes clean, healthy, and beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
Light Up the Lakefront is a truly powerful event. Ryann had the opportunity to participate by lighting lanterns, each representing someone impacted by domestic violence. It was a moving reminder of resilience, hope, and the importance of community support.
